1900 OR CENSUS - Louise Feller, age 29, mother of 5, b. Feb 1871 in Switzerland, year of immigration 1895, is enumerated with her husband of 9 years, Fred G., age 37, occupation farmer, b. Apr 1863 in Switzerland, year of immigration 1895, along with Lillie, age 8, b. Jan 1892 in Oregon, George, age 5, b. Nov 1894 in Oregon, Ida, age 4, b. Jan 1896 in Oregon, Clara, age 2, b. Feb 1898 in Oregon, and Wilfred, age 9 months, b. Aug 1899 in Oregon.
1910 OR CENSUS - Louise Feller, age 39, mother of 12 children 10 of whom are living at the time of the census, b. Switzerland, is enumerated with her husband of 19 years, Fred G., age 46, occupation farmer, b. Switzerland, along with Lillie, age 18, George, age 16, Ida, age 14, Clara, age 12, Wilfred, age 10, Emory, age 8, Henry [twin], age 6, b. Oregon, Albert [twin], age 6, Cliford, age 4, and Marie, age 1, all born in Oregon.
DISCREPANCY - year of immigration is given as 1895 in 1900 census - but 2 of their children we said to have been born in Oregon before 1895.
OBITUARY: 
Mrs. Feller of Illahee Area Succumbs.
Mrs. Louis [Louise] Feller, born 87 years ago in Chaux-de-founds, Switzerland, died Saturday morning following a recent stroke. She was a resident of Salem for 70 years.
A life member of Evangelical Reform Church and active in many church activities, Mrs. Feller was born Feb. 15, 1871. She married the late Fred G. Feller at Salem in 1891. He died in 1934. She came to Salem at 18 to join her brother, the late Daniel Schunegger [Schlunegger].
Mrs. Feller lived on Rt. 4 in the Illahee community south of Salem for the past 60 years.
Survivors include five daughter, Miss Lillie Feller, Miss Ida Feller, Mrs. Claude Litchfield, and Mrs. John Gilmer, all Salem, and Mrs. David Hoss, Corvallis; six sons, George, Emery, and Henry Feller, all Salem, Wilfred Feller, Newport, and Albert and Clifford Feller, both Turner; a sister, Mrs. Lena Liechti, Switzerland; 18 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Clough-Barrick chapel with interment at Turner Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. C.W.H. Sauerwein will officiate.
