Washington, along with Robert, age 9, b. Washington, Henry, age 8, b. Washington, and Edward, age 4, b. Oregon. Also enumerated with the family is William J. Hatfield, identified as father [of Roy], age 74 widowed, b. Kentucky.
OBITUARY: 
TURNER – Services for Roy Hatfield, 67 year old Turner resident who died Wednesday night in a Salem nursing home after a long illness, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Barrick Chapel in Salem, Rev. E.J. Gillespie officiating. Interment will be at Turner IOOF Cemetery.
Hatfield was born in Missouri and was a World War I veteran. He was a retired Marion County highway department employe[e].
Surviving are the widow, Velma; two daughters, Mrs. Byron L. Fortsch, Beaverton, and Mrs. William A. Read, Salem; and five sons, Robert, Edward and Orville, all Salem; Henry, Turner; and James with the Navy in Maryland; and several grandchildren.
