OBITUARY:
Elisa A. Wipper, 38, of Salem died Thursday from an extended illness.
Born in Bremerton, Wash., she was raised in Salem. She graduated from Sprague High School. She did volunteer work for Salem Hospital for many years. She was a member of Valley Christian Fellowship and Toastmaster’s Club. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening.
Survivors include her mother, Idella M. Wipper of Salem; sister, Connie S. Wipper of Salem; brother, Douglas A. Wipper of Turner, and grandmother, Pauline Wipper of Boise, Idaho.
Services for her and her father, Donald L. Wipper, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service. Interment will be at Cloverdale Cemetery, Turner. Contributions: Salem Hospital Foundation, PO Box 14001, Salem 97309
