Herschel W. ‘Skeet’ Davidson
May 8, 1912-Aug. 1, 1994
Herschel W. ‘Skeet’ Davidson, 82, of Salem died here Monday.
He was born in Marion. He worked as a painter for the state Highway Division and as a driver for Foreman’s Cleaners.
He belonged to the Salem Eagles Assoc. No. 2081 and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his daughters, Betty Nelson of Salem and Dolly Smith of San Diego; sister, Eleanor Leffler of Salem; brothers, Lester of Salem and Floyd of Marion; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Aug. 15 in Barrick mortuary. Private interment will be in Marion Friends Cemetery.
