OBITUARY: December 20, 1909 - February 27, 2000
MARION — Clifford Lauman, 90, died Sunday.
He was born in Wayne, Neb., and farmed in the Bloomfield area for 25 years. He moved from Downey, Calif., to Marion in 1950. He was a carpenter, retiring as head of maintenance at Cascade Union High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and horseback riding. He was a member of Mid-Valley Trail Riders and Oregon Equestrian Trails.
Survivors include his wife, Ella, whom he married 70 years ago; daughters, Jeanne McCauley of Springfield and Anita Dewey of Powell Butte; son, Jim of Summerville; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Marion Friends Church. Arrangements are by Weddle Funeral Home in Stayton.
