TURNER - She was born in Smithville, Okla. in 1943, and moved to Oregon in 1961. She retired from Stayton Cannery in 1999 after over 20 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Roy Lawrence of Smithville, Okla., L.C. Lawrence of Mena, Ark., and Olen Lawrence of Klamath Falls; mother, Dessie Lawrence and father, Olaf Lawrence of Smithville, Okla. Survivors include daughter, Iva Morris of Big Lake, Alaska; sons, Jeffery L Phillips and Lonnie D. Nollen, Jr, both of Turner; granddaughters, Salina Jackson of Jefferson, Kristina Nollen of Albany, KeKe Nollen of Lincoln City, and Ashley Phillips of Salem; and grandsons, Clayton Jackson of Jefferson, and Michael Phillips and Robby Morris, both of Big Lake, Alaska.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Wed., April 28, 2004, at Friends of Marion Cemetery. Arrangements are by Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors.
