BEND — Xlee Stinson, 77, died Monday.
Born in Hatfield, Ark., she moved to Oregon in 1946. She lived in several communities including Turner, Cloverdale, Idanha and Mill City from 1982 until 1998, when she moved to Bend. She belonged to the Pentecostal Church of Mill City and enjoyed camping, gardening and crafts.
Survivors include her husband, Troy, whom she married in 1940; daughters, Joyce Foltz of Lyons, Joan Bush of Jefferson; sons, Lester, Larry and Lloyd, all of Bend, Luther of Buckeye, Ariz., and Leslie of Veneta; brothers, Melvin Stinnett of Woodburn, Curtis Stinnett of Ontario, and Ronnie Stinnett of Lyons; sisters, Ruby Jones of Woodburn, Beatrice Longfellow of Lyons, Betty Smith of Aumsville and Jean Smith of La Pine; 18 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be noon to 5 p.m. today at Weddle Funeral Home in Stayton. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Interment will be at Marion Friends Cemetery in Marion. Contributions: American Lung Association.
