1920 OR CENSUS - Edith Wilson, age 35, b. Ohio, is enumerated with husband Ananias, age 37, occupation railroad laborer, b. Iowa, along with Vernon, age 9, George, age 7, Raymond, age 6, Glenn, age 5, Clifford, age 4, Beulah, age 2, and Virgil, age 2 months, all born in Oregon.
OBITUARY: 
Jefferson—Mrs. Edith Wilson, 53, passed away at the family home here at 12:30 o’clock Saturday morning, following a stroke while attending church last Sunday evening. She was the daughter of M. D. and Mary J. Swabb, and was born January 4, 1884, at Malta, Ohio. When a child she came west with the family and settled in Tillamook county. In 1902 they moved to the Willamette valley where she taught school. She was married to A. Wilson April 12, 1908, in Salem. The family later lived at Marion and in 1929 moved to Jefferson. When a child Mrs. Wilson united with the United Brethren church, later at Marion she became a member of the Friends church, and in 1929 joined the Evangelical church at Jefferson. At the time of her death she was assistant Sunday school superintendent, teacher of a class of junior girls, and president of the Women’s Missionary society. Besides her widower she is survived by seven sons, Vernon L. and Raymond E. of Portland. W. Glen of Yakima, Wash., George M. of Red Bluffs, Cal., Clifford A., Virgil L. and Clarence A. of Jefferson. Two children died in infancy. Also survived by her mother, Mary J. Swabb of Salem; brothers, Perl H. of Portland, George C. of Yakima, Wash., and Nathan D. of Red Bluffs, Cal.; sister, Mrs. Dora Chiles of Salem; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Evangelical church here Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with interment in the Marion cemetery, Rev. Charles Fogg officiating.
