OBITUARY:
At his home on Riverside Drive near Salem, Tuesday, Nov 20, 1917, J. E. Bowler at the age of 55 [sic] years. He is survived by a wife and two sons.
The funeral services were held this afternoon from the cemetery near Livesley. Services were in charge of the Terwilliger Company.
